Lama Mark Webber will continue to give further meditative instructions on the unity of śamatha-vipaśyanā and the Four Yogas based on the pithy text of Je Gampopa’s Single Sufficient Path of Mahamudra.

Mahamudra or ‘great seal’, is the view of all experience as it is. The great seal is also the meditation and the fruition—total awakeness and compassion. It describes the preparations, graduated steps we take and the natural mode of mind free of all obscurations.

We are pleased to announce that Lama Mark Webber will be giving a commentary and instructions on Je Gampopa’s (11th cent.) essence text: The Single Sufficient Path of Mahamudra. This is an elegant and direct instruction of the essence-ground of mind, the meditations and path we need to follow and the result; the inseparable unity of wisdom and compassion. Je Gampopa was one of Tibet’s greatest masters.
