Looking Deeply into Karma and Causality, Westport, NZ

February 21, 2017 - February 22, 2017

Looking Deeply into Karma and Causality, enhancing our meditations at all levels

Lama Mark writes:

“Understanding karma—cause and effect and habit patterns—is a key teaching of Buddhism and is essential to all our study, reflection and meditations. Whether our meditations are in the style of modern Vipassana, practices of compassion or Tantric Deity Yoga, Mahamudra or Dzogchen, form or formless, causality is at the heart of all our practices. I often recall the Ven. Namgyal Rinpoche saying, the main thing hindering beings’ progress in meditation is not more meditation, but their karma. Free up karma and meditation is unhindered.” “

Lama Mark will take us stage by stage, ever deepening the discoveries of wisdom that are made when we re-investigate karma at multiple levels. A study guide on Karma and it’s meditations, by Lama Mark will be made available for these classes.
