The first two weeks will focus on the basis and practice of Insight, from causality, five aggregates, appearances, transience, stress, no-real self, nirvana and non-abiding nature.

Understanding what the Dharma is and what it is not clarifies the path of awakening.  This profound clarification, called the View, gives us increasing confidence in why we meditate and the ensuing activity of the bodhisattva path.

 “All teachings and meditations of the Buddhist Path are the unity of Vipassana-direct wisdom seeing-and vast compassion." Lama Chokyi Gyaltsen.

Abhidhamma is a deep study and series of meditative investigations into mind and form, states, meditative concentration, realms of being, mental processes — cognition, stages of liberation, path factors, emptiness, interdependent origination and the causality/emptiness teaching of the interdependence of all phenomena (Patthana).
